Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, INDIA - MNR Education Trust with 37 institutions, 42,000 students imparting education from K.G. to P.G enters an agreement with Medical Education Research Centre (MEdRC),a pioneer and thought leader in the area of creating a national digital Health and medical education infrastructure today in city to make available MEdRC’s SmarTeach UGMed program at its Digital Library in the campus for the benefit of students of medical education. For the first time in the country, MedRC is rolling out this product in afull fledged mannerat MNR medical college, bringing pride and honor to the state of Andhra Pradesh. This path breaking initiative aims to facilitate teachers to impart skills teaching and problem based learning tostudents withMEdRC’s products.

This campus at Sangareddy which houses all medical education institutions promoted by MNR Educational Trustviz., the Medical and Dental Colleges with Teaching Hospitals offering Graduation, Post Graduation, Diploma and Certificate Courses in Medicine & Dentistry, Colleges offering Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Paramedical Courses, Ayurvedic Medical College and the Medical research centre are all housed on the same campus.

SmarTeach UGMed Programoffers potentially universal access and the experience of “best-in-class” content, regardless of location, immortalizing the teachings of the eminent teachers in this domain. It transforms learning; training and teaching from a passive consumption experience to a more flexible and enriched learner-centric experience. This professionally managed project in sync with globally accepted standard pedagogy methodologies like “Integrated learning”, “Blended Learning”, “Collaborative learning”, “Problem Based Learning”, Evidenced Based Learning”, etc. The SmarTeach UGMed program consists of a complete set of undergraduate e-Lectures as per MCI curriculum delivered by professors from all over India and annotated with slides, computer graphics and animations.

City headquartered MEdRC has readied, for the first time in our country, the entire MBBS Curriculum in an easy to use e learning platform which is set to transform the way Health and medical education is delivered in INDIA. The e-learning package namely “UGMed” developed by MEdRC is precisely in keeping with the approved and standardised curriculumofMedical Council of India and the NTR University of Health sciences. The highlight of the product is that the same has been approved and is recommended by Medical Council of India to all medical colleges.
