Era Infra Engineering Ltd, an integrated infrastructure development company with a pan India presence has secured an order for supply of Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) for common wealth games village, New Delhi.

The contract valued at approximately Rs 20 crore involves supply of approx 50000 cum of RMC from Era’s RMC division plant at Sahibabad which has present capacity of 30 M³/HR and started commercial sale of RMC recently.

Commenting on the order, Mr. Ashok Kumar, COO, RMC Division, Era Group said, “It is pertinent to note that Era group started planning and installation of RMC business in the intial part of FY07-08 and already has 4 RMC plants functioning at Greater Noida, IMT Manesar, Sahibabad and BPTP Faridabad. The plant at Greater Noida which started functioning in December 2007 is already supplying RMCfor huge infrastructure projects in Greater Noida. This plant has also received encouraging response from the market for quality and timely delivery of RMC to its customers. The plant is also finalizing large orders for supply of RMC to large infrastructure projects. IMT Manesar plant – which started functioning in end of October 2007 with an initial capacity of 30 M³/HR has also expanded capacity to 60M/HR and enhanced capacity will be available soon. The fourth plant at BPTP Faridabad is ready to deliver RMC to infrastructure projects in BPTP”.
